100 Days of Bible Promises Days 1-10

Hey y'all! This series is going to walk you through the 100 days of Bible Promises devotional by Shanna Noel! Each post will go through 10 days and will show the devotional page and the journaling page I did to go with each one along with what supplies/techniques I used! I have challenged myself to complete the full 100 days. There is no pressure to do it consecutively, my goal is to just complete it and spend more time in God's Word in the process! I hope you enjoy!!

Day 1: His Grace Is Sufficient Verse: 2 Corinthians 12:9 Supplies used: Paints and a dry coarse brush, also used the edge of a paint card and black paint to create the lines in the corners of the pages.

Day 2: Don't Be Afraid Verse: Ephesians 6:10 Supplies used: Distress Oxides and gold gilding flakes

Day 3: Nothing Is Too Difficult For God Verse: Jeremiah 32:17 & 27 Supplies used: Gel plate, alcohol inks, acrylic paint, stamps and stencils. I also made a printable on sticker paper for the words.

Day 4: Be Still Verse: 1 Samuel 12:16 Supplies used: I decided to do a digital journaling page on this day. I used a printable that I got for free on the Illustrated Faith Print & Pray shop website.

Day 5: Your Desires, God's Purpose Verse: Psalm 37:4 Supplies used: Paint card with acrylic paint (I placed paint on the edge and swiped in a wavy pattern), I also used some stamps and stencils.

Day 6: Don't Worry Verse: Proverbs 12:25 Supplies used: For this page I used washi tape to tape off my page in a random pattern and then I used distress oxides to fill in the spaces and then pulled the tape off. I also used pieces of a hymn page.

Day 7: Steadfast In Your Work Verse: 1 Corinthians 15:58 Supplies used: Distress Oxides and stencils. For the stencils I took a damp paper towel and dabbed my page through the stencils. Because the oxides react with water it creates the effect you see on my page. I also watered down some white paint and used it for splatters on my page.

Day 8: Praise At All Times Verse: Daniel 6:10 Supplies used: I used the smooshing technique with distress oxides. I also used the edge of a paint card with acrylic paint to add the lines in the corners of the page.

Day 9: New Beginnings Verse: Romans 6:4 Supplies used: I also did the smooshing technique here with distress oxides.

Day 10: New Mercies Every Day Verse: Lamentations 3: 22-23 Supplies used: Distress oxides. I just took the oxide pad and swiped it across my page.
